ABOUT US

Hi, I'm Stephanie, and I started Desk & Company because I found working from home difficult. As a freelance journalist and copywriter I found myself spending long periods working with little human interaction, and I realised it was taking a toll on my mental and physical wellbeing. 

When I moved to Rutland two years ago I tried hard to find a modern, friendly environment to work in locally, but there didn't seem to be anywhere that ticked all the boxes. So, I started my own!

The office is in a character building above Fika Cafe in Mill Street, in the heart of Oakham. It's anything but your average drab office environment. From individually commissioned desks to vintage finds, we do things a bit differently at Desk & Company. My aim is to create a pleasant and inspiring place to work.
